A campanha internacional do World Marrow Donor Day (WMDD) 2019 já foi divulgada pela equipe da World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA). Este ano, além dos eventos a serem realizados e cadastrados no site, e das histórias entre doador e paciente divulgadas, o WMDA estimula o uso da hashtag #LightRedBlueWhite.
A ideia é que pontos turísticos sejam iluminados nas cores azul, vermelha e branca, ao redor do mundo, como forma de sensibilizar para a causa e agradecer ao doador de medula óssea. A foto do ponto iluminado deve ser publicada nas redes sociais com a hashtag #LightRedBlueWhite.
